Domestic demand for inverters is booming, with market space reaching 180 billion

The current growth rate of the installed capacity (power) of frequency converters in the Chinese market is actually around 20%, and the potential market space is approximately 180 billion yuan. Among them, low-voltage inverters account for about 60% of the market share, and the remaining 40% are occupied by medium and high-voltage inverters.

Recently, 18 new products of TBEA Hengyang Transformer Co., Ltd. passed national appraisal. Among them, three of the new products that have passed national certification have reached the international leading level.

As domestic high-voltage inverter manufacturers focus on and increase investment in R&D to break through technological development bottlenecks, domestic brands are gradually replacing imported products.

Domestic inverters gradually replace imported ones

These three products are: the world's first single-phase double-column UHV shunt reactor BKD-240Mvar/1100kV with the highest voltage level and largest capacity; among the products produced by domestic transformer manufacturing enterprises, the capacity The field-assembled transformer OSFPS-JT-1000MVA/500kV with the largest volume and the highest voltage level; the combined generator transformer SSP-H-860MVA/500kV with the largest capacity in the world.

In fact, these three products of TBEA Hengyang Transformer Co., Ltd. are just a microcosm of the rise of my country's domestic inverters. As early as 2011, Hicon Frequency Converter actively extended its reach to the upstream and downstream industries, taking a stake in Guodian Nanjing New Energy, cooperating with Shanxi Coal Group, acquiring 70% of the equity of Beijing North Transformer, and newly establishing Beijing Hicon Yisheng Electric to occupy the market, optimize the supply chain structure, and reduce product costs. At the same time, the application base is expanded, rules are established, standardized mold production methods are launched to improve inventory efficiency, and technical thresholds and scale thresholds are used to squeeze the market space of manufacturers without scale effects.

Entering the low-voltage field, for Hicon Inverter, the opportunities outweigh the risks. It is expected that in the next three years, Hicon Inverter’s sales of medium and low voltage and explosion-proof inverters will continue to grow rapidly.

At the China Automation Industry Annual Conference held in April 2013, Senlan Inverter once again ranked as the number one domestic inverter brand in China. This is the seventh time that Sunland has won this award. As one of the earliest domestic companies engaged in frequency conversion technology research, Senlan continues to innovate and lead the market and industry development.

In 2012, Senlan launched the third generation SBH series high-voltage inverter, which made substantial breakthroughs in the domestic mid-to-high-end market and large-scale engineering projects. It has gradually established and improved a marketing service network across the country and Asia, Europe and the Americas, and has made rapid progress in international market expansion.

A power plant denitrification report by Chen Qiuquan, supervisor of Hekang Inverter Company, shows that in 2012, foreign brands such as Siemens, Schneider Electric, ABB, and Oriental Hitachi still accounted for more than 2/3 of my country's inverter market share. No matter in terms of technology, processing and manufacturing, industrial design, or financial strength, there is a gap between domestic inverter brands and foreign brands, especially when compared with the two giants Siemens and ABB, the gap is more obvious.

At present, the share of foreign brands in the domestic medium and low-voltage inverter market is basically the same as that in 2007, and remains the same.
